Give Me

This was one of the first Originals I made. It got me into fifth place at the TSA Competition in the Music Production category in 2022. I wrote the song 2 years ago basing myself off of Moombahton music, and then mixing dembow, reggaeton, trap, soca, brazilian funk, and pop. What I did differently in this track is that I mixed a bit more of a C-pop beat as well with Chinese instruments in the background. I added some accordion, which is very used in old school Reggaeton, Brazilian Funk and French music. Also, as a Peruvian myself, I added instruments in the background that come from Peru including the Cajon and the PanFlute. I enjoy the different elements that I added to the song. Something that I would change is to not over duplicate too many beats. At the time, I did it because I didn't know how to balance the treble and bass settings on a song.
